Parque das Aves holds a 13-week annual training course in Conservation Education, Communication, and Assessment intended to provide tools for professionals who work with conservation in Brazil and internationally, so as to develop education and communication based on evidence both in in situ and ex situ interventions. We help you integrate the best knowledge available in conservation education, communication, and assessment in your practical plans to engage the public. The course gives access to what is most modern in research and practice in conservation education, communication, and assessment for environmental education with an integrated evaluation on all aspects of the course. To provide practical support in developing conservation plans, tools, and methods informed by Social Science, this course includes a classroom period of one week at Parque das Aves. The course is given by the main world experts, including Dr. Eric Jensen (Parque das Aves), Dr. Judy Mann (Ushaka Marine World), Dr. Andrew Moss (Chester Zoo), and Professor Alessandra Bizerra (University of São Paulo).
